...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM THIS MORNING TO
3 PM CST SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy mixed precipitation expected. Total snow
  accumulations between 6 and 10 inches across central Kansas, total
  snow accumulations between 3 and 6 inches across portions of
  southern Kansas, sleet accumulations around one half of an inch,
  and ice accumulations between one tenth and one half of an inch.
  Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.

* WHERE...Portions of Central, South Central, and Southeast Kansas.

* WHEN...From 6 AM this morning to 3 PM CST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
  likely become slick and hazardous. Power outages and tree damage
  are likely due to the ice. Travel could be nearly impossible.
  Widespread blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility.
  Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest road conditions for
the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.

Persons should consider delaying all travel. Motorists should use
extreme caution if travel is absolutely necessary.
