...A Period of Light Snow for the Morning Commute...

A period of light snow is expected to move across the area through
9 AM. A dusting to a few tenths of an inch of accumulation is
possible. In addition, some patchy very light freezing drizzle
could mix in with the light snow. This may lead to roads becoming
slick for the morning commute. If traveling this morning, be
alert for slick road conditions, especially on bridges, overpasses
and secondary or lesser traveled roadways.

...Light Accumulating Snow This Morning...

Light snow is expected to continue develop and expand across the
area into mid morning. Accumulations of around an inch or so
is possible south of a Kahoka, Missouri to Princeton, Illinois
line, with a dusting to a few tenths of an inch elsewhere.
This will lead to slick travel and reduced visibilities, which
will impact the morning commute. Plan to allow for extra time to
reach your destination this morning.
