EVENING...

* WHAT...Periods of snow, heavy at times through early this evening.
  Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...Kaibab Plateau, especially from Jacob Lake southward.

* WHEN...Until 6 PM MST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
  likely become slick and hazardous. Travel is not recommended as
  heavy snowfall and low visibility will create dangerous driving
  conditions.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Forecast snowfall amounts from 1 AM MST Today
  to 6 PM MST Today...

  to 7500 feet early this morning, falling to 6500 to 7000 feet this
  afternoon.  Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE...Chuska Mountains and Defiance Plateau.

* WHEN...Until midnight MST tonight.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
  likely become slick and hazardous. Travel is not recommended as
  heavy snowfall and low visibility will create dangerous driving
  conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday
  morning and evening commutes.

  be heavy and a few thunderstorms are also possible. Winds gusting
  as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE...Mogollon Rim.

* WHEN...Until 6 PM MST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
  likely become slick and hazardous. Travel is not recommended as
  heavy snowfall and low visibility will create dangerous driving
  conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday
  morning and evening commutes. Gusty winds could bring down tree
  branches.
