...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL KERN COUNTY
THROUGH 700 PM PDT...

At 628 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Arvin, or 15 miles southeast of Bakersfield, moving southeast at 30
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Keene, Bear Valley Springs, Arvin, Tehachapi, Golden Hills, Stallion
Springs, Water Canyon, and Weedpatch.
