...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL TULARE COUNTY
THROUGH 715 PM PDT...

At 649 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles east of East Porterville, or 12 miles east of Porterville,
moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Springville, Johnsondale, Quaking Aspen, Camp Nelson, Ponderosa, and
Peppermint.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
