KEY MESSAGES: 1) Rain showers are possible at times today, tonight, and Thursday. 2) Warmer temperatures are expected this weekend which may increase fire weather concerns. 3) A change to wetter and cooler conditions is possible early to middle portions of next week. WEATHER PATTERN OVERVIEW: Isolated to scattered rain showers will continue at times today and tonight in most areas and on Thursday in the east as the upper level trough moves east through the area. Most places will not see wetting rains from this system, which may lead to fire weather concerns this weekend as temperatures warm. The trough moves to the east Thursday night and upper ridge moves into the region on Friday. The ridge will remain over the area through Sunday with warm temperatures that will be in the 80s for highs in most areas on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday has the lowest RH which is expected to be in the teens in most areas. The ridge moves to the east Sunday night and Monday as an upper trough bring a cold front through the area.
