...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL MOFFAT COUNTY
THROUGH 315 PM MDT...

At 232 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 27
miles north of Meeker, or 28 miles west of Craig, moving northwest at
10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Maybell and Sunbeam.

This includes the following highways...
 U.S. Highway 40 in Colorado between mile markers 44 and 64.
 Colorado 318 between mile markers 49 and 60.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
