...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN SUBLETTE...SOUTH
CENTRAL FREMONT AND NORTHWESTERN SWEETWATER COUNTIES THROUGH 545 PM
MDT...

At 457 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 11 miles northeast of Marbleton to 6 miles west
of Farson to 6 miles northwest of Green River. Movement was northeast
at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Farson, Eden, Boulder, and Big Sandy Recreational Area around 505
  PM MDT.
  Northern Rock Springs around 510 PM MDT.
  Big Sandy, Killpecker Dune Field, and Boars Tusk around 515 PM
  MDT.

Other locations in the path of these storms include Big Sandy
Opening, Superior, Cirque Of The Towers, South Pass Rest Area and
Wind River Peak.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in Riverton.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM MDT for
west central Wyoming.
