For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Ontario

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 29.6 inch low will drift into the lower Great Lakes
today, while a secondary 29.6 inch low develops along the Mid
Atlantic coast. The coastal low will slide northeast to off the New
England coast by Friday morning, while deepening to 29.5 inches. The
two areas of low pressure will consolidate into a 29.6 inch low near
the Maine coast Friday, and only slowly wobble east, with a trough
extending back west across the lake this weekend.
